
Sir Alex Ferguson was an intimidating figure at the best of times, and even more so when you are a young South African joining one of the biggest clubs in the world.
That most certainly sums up how Quinton Fortune felt when he joined Manchester United from Atletico Madrid in 1999, arriving at Old Trafford where the likes of Roy Keane, Paul Scholes and Peter Schmeichel were massive figures in the dressing-room.
But it's Ferguson who really got Fortune shaking in his boots, with the South African also having to try and decipher the manager's thick Scottish accent.
