A team of South African Football Legends recently travelled to Gaborone's National Stadium to take on their Botswana counterparts in a friendly match.
The visiting team consisted of the who's who of South African football - Siphiwe Tshabalala, Mbulelo 'OJ' Mabizela, Lucky Lekgwathi, Brian Baloyi, Moeneeb Josephs, Matthew Booth, Jabu Mahlangu, Fabian McCarthy, Jabu Mendu and Cyril Nzama, to name just a few.
The stadium was packed to the rafters as the SAFL emerged winners via a penalty shootout after Botswana had cancelled out Steve Lekoelea's first half goal. Mahlangu also missed a spot-kick in the first half.
