Quinton Fortune on the time he met Cristiano Ronaldo

Sir Alex Ferguson's propensity for spotting young talent is second to none, and arguably his finest ever recruit for Manchester United was Cristiano Ronaldo.

The soon-to-be world star caught the eye in a pre-season friendly against the Red Devils in August 2003, and moved to Old Trafford just a few months later in a £12.24-million deal.

Former AmaGlug-glug and Bafana Bafana star Quinton Fortune played in that match at Estadio Jose Alvalade, and recalls how the 18-year-old ripped them apart.
