Former Bafana Bafana defender Benson Mhlongo has been appointed as head coach of struggling GladAfrica Championship side TS Sporting.
The 41-year-old, who enjoyed a stellar and trophy-laden career with Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and Platinum Stars, is back at the club where he was first employed as a head coach.
He started his career in the dugout as an assistant at Orlando Pirates, and also held the reins at Black Leopards alongside Floyd Mogale.
Galaxy are in desperate need of a lift after losing four matches in a row, leaving them down in 14th place, one point better off than Leopards in the final relegation spot.
