Fortune completes his UEFA Pro Licence

Former Bafana Bafana and South African Under-23 midfielder Quinton Fortune has completed his UEFA Pro Licence.

The 44-year-old, who is currently assistant coach at English Championship side Reading, posted a picture of him with his certificate upon graduation on his social media channels this morning.

The UEFA Pro Licence is the highest coaching certification available, with Fortune having completed his course alongside former Chelsea captain John Terry and Luis Boa Morte, who had a brief spell in South Africa with Orlando Pirates.

It is the latest step in a remarkable football journey that has seen Fortune play at the highest level for the likes of Atletico Madrid, Manchester United and Bafana.
