Matthew Booth has explained the reasoning behind his letter to Minister Nathi Mthethwa on the plight of professional and ex-professional footballers, and their lack of educational opportunities.
The former AmaGlug-glug captain and Bafana Bafana defender wrote to the Minister of Sports, Arts & Culture after receiving no response on a similar letter to the South African Football Association penned at the start of the year.
